Private Yoga Classes
WE ARE A FULLY EQUIPPED
Ivonne found yoga 18 years ago and immediately recognized its many benefits. She fell in love with the practice and the way it enhanced her other physical activities, such as mountaineering, rock and ice climbing, running, and tennis.
She completed the 200-hour training at Santosha Yoga Training Institute in 2017 in both Hatha and Vinyasa and further studied:
- Pre + Post Natal yoga, Yoga for children, Yoga for Teens Yoga
- Spanish Institute of Therapeutic Yoga: Yoga for spinal problems: adapting yoga for spinal issues- working with physiotherapists and osteopaths – addressing discopathy – degeneration, protrusion and herniation of the discs
Ivonne’s classes are athletic and challenging, yet balanced, safe, and accessible to all. She believes that a mindful yoga practice extends beyond the mat and infuses everything we do. With that in mind, Ivonne aims to have her students leave her classes feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to the world around them.
WELCOME TO OUR
bespoke yoga studio
Our mission at Yoga with Ivonne is to empower and heal our community through yoga education and practice. Daily asana classes, kriyas, pranayama, meditation, history, philosophy, and anatomy are taught at our school. We offer various events and workshops to students throughout the year. Ivonne has a decade of experience in various disciplines including Ashtanga, Forrest, Dharma, and Bikram yoga.
Yoga with Ivonne classes are derived from many disciplines. We believe in the benefits of all styles of yoga and don’t believe that any one style is better than another. Our goal is to take the information that yoga gives us to make sure our students find what makes sense for them in their own practice. We strive to be on the cutting edge of new information on yoga teaching, education, and practice.
Yoga with Ivonne believes in the power of yoga and its ability to change the world. We believe that yogis should always see the best version of themselves so that they may hold the high vision for their community. This can be achieved through the practice of peace, grace, and divine love.
Be receptive to the light in you that will guide you home. Let the light in.
